Katie Zmed has been a Licensed Massage Therapist in Rhode Island since 2017. I am certified in Ayurvedic Bodywork, Cupping Therapy, and Reiki Level II. I have completed three levels of training in Craniosacral Therapy and am pursing a rigorous certification process through the Upledger Institute. I received my massage therapy and Ayurvedic training at The Newport Massage School at SAMA (Sacred Stone Academy of Massage and Ayurveda). For 5 years, I worked as a massage therapist at Living Chi Massage & Wellness in Warwick, RI. Previous to this career, I spent 12 years working in International Education, advising international students at Johnson & Wales University, Providence, RI. I am originally from the Chicago area. My husband, Justin, runs an adult soccer league: wefasoccer.com. We have 3 amazing children, 2 cats, and a fantastic backyard of adventure!
